Everyone is welcomed here. You don't have to believe a certain way or behave a certain way. We create everything we do for everyone to feel expected and accepted. We believe that through fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron and We believe that together, we grow stronger. 

 

We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow together and ultimately grow closer to God. We value the word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ so that they can find their way.

WHO WE ARE

OUR MISSION

Jesus had a simple mission statement 2,000 years ago: “For the son of man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10

 

If this was Jesus’ mission, then this is our mission. We will not just wait for people to come to us, we will go to our community, our neighborhoods and our city to reach more people with the message of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is simple: To audaciously go into more places and reach more people— 

Leading people to experience hope and a growing 

relationship with Jesus.

OUR VISION

Although our approach is modern, what we believe is tried and true. Just as Jesus taught in a way that the common person could hear and understand Him gladly, and Paul became “all things to all people”, we are doing an old thing in a new way.

 

You won't find anything weird or unusual in our theology. We are spirit filled and led protestants in our beliefs, and modern in our practices and expressions.

OUR VALUES

There’s no place like home. This house is built the way it is for a purpose, and it’s important for you to understand how it operates. We don’t go to church. We ARE the church. We are all part of the Way!

What we believe

Basic Theology

  1. About the Bible— We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

  2. About God— We believe in one personal God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; equal in power, authority and glory.

  3. About Jesus— We believe Jesus Christ to be the virgin-born Son of God who lived in flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again bodily, and ascended to the Father in heaven.

  4. About mankind— We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

  5. About the church— We believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head.  The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him, obeying Him and bringing the gospel to the world. The church continues to follow the mission of Jesus which is to seek and save the lost.

Zach and Kristin Miller

Campus Directors

Zach and Kristin have more than a dozen years of ministry background and are very passionate about Jesus and loving people! Kristin is also very passionate about leading people into the Lord's presence through music and direct's our worship team. Make sure to come say hi to them when you visit!

Luke Reid

Teaching Pastor

Pastor Luke has over 20 years of experience serving God's people and is tireless in his pursuit of furthering God's Kingdom. his primary focus in Hillsboro is ensuring that members of Way Church are served with quality teaching that supports the growth of biblical literacy, encourages love for Jesus, and one another.

Dr. Dave Schaal

Teaching Pastor

Dr. David Schaal has over 25 years of experience as a pastor and missiologist. He is the founder and host of Speak Good News. His doctoral studies at Fuller Theological Seminary led him to research the gaps between his two passions - the Christian Church and reaching the lost by speaking the truth and love of Jesus Christ.

Anne Manaloor

Hospitality Leader

Anne has both local and international missions experience which she uses to facilitate our hospitality and missional focus as a church. anne leads our Hospitality Team on Sundays and is a great local leader at way church. you may see her service leading as well!

Donovan Raschdorf

Productions Manager

With over two decades of experience in the dynamic realm of the music industry, Donovan brings a wealth of expertise to Way church. A seasoned professional with a passion for orchestrating impactful experiences, he continues to channel his vast knowledge into creating spiritually enriching and visually captivating worship experiences.

Kimberlee Baker

Administration

Kimberlee brings a dozen years of experience in HR and human relations as well as years of experience in managing business and office settings to way church. She assists the leadership at way to help keep things running smoothly. We are blessed to have her!

Tina Nash

Facility Manager

Tina leads our building team from maintenance, improvements, tenant relations, cleaning and more! She has an amazing heart for people and serving God's House!

Jessamyn Van Hook

Children's Ministry Leader

Jessamyn is a local teacher and does an excellent job directing our children's ministry. She has created a fun, safe, Jesus focused environment for our children to learn and grow at Way Church.
